Under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Bosch Group is planning to establish an innovative traffic park in Pune city which stands as a stepping stone to bring awareness about the traffic sense and also safety on roads among all the age groups.
The Traffic park is proposed to be developed at Indraprastha Garden, Yerwada and the MoU for the same has already been exchanged by the Hon. Guardian Minister on13th of February, 2019
Project details & status
- The basic objective of the traffic park is to educate various age groups about the traffic rules and regulations through some real time scenarios.
- BOSCH is planning to develop the traffic parkĀ and also operate and maintain the facility for a period of 5 years
- Major portion of the traffic park will be covered with road tracks, pavement markings and zebra crossings. Footpaths and traffic islands need to be created on a smaller proportional scale.
- Digital rooms for conducting any workshops / seminars and simulator rooms for making people to educate the people about night driving conditions need to be constructed. This simulator rooms are very much helpful for older people and women in particular. A judgement on overtaking, speed control at merging and diverging areas can be visually experienced by the simulators.
